A sporting event is organized for married couples.

The rules are simple:
-The goal is to throw one's wife as far as possible without killing her.
-The projectiles, hereafter referred to as 'wives' may aid the power of the toss and also try to stay in the air as long as possible in anyway that doesn't break another rule.
-Once thrown characters may not adjust their weight, generate their own thrust or lift. (For example through the use of wings or magical/superpowered flight)
-They may however glide, soar, steer, and otherwise guide/aim themselves.
-They may not bring unusual equipment with them.

All of the couples pair up, and the wives are tossed one at a time to ensure there are no collisions.

The couples are:

1. Sig and Izumi Curtis from Full Metal Alchemist, who use their superhuman strength and agility in tandem.

2. Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, who rely on Cage's brute strength.

3. In a twist, She Hulk tosses her ex-husband, John Jameson, she's in a very good mood, having been given this opportunity.

4. Bowser throws Princess Peach, yes, they did technically marry in one game. She may use her dress/parasol to slow her descent, but will also slow her forward movement if she does it too soon.

5. Shining Armor and Princess Cadence, the originators of the Epic Wife Toss, who combine strength with aerodynamics, just as they did in the show.

Whose wife is safely tossed furthest?

1 - They are not super human and Izumi is already sick and dying. The throw might kill her.
2 - Luke and Jessica both have superhuman strength and durability. They have the highest change to survive the throw and throw the furthest.
3 - She-Hulk hurls John so hard and far she would win but the throw would kill him, so she is disqualified.
4- Bowser may be strong but he isnt THAT strong. Best he can do is Throw Peach a few feet.
5 - Dont know these Chracters.

I say the Cages win.

I say the Cages win. Izumi can apparently takes hits from Sloth, who Sig beat up on, and is pretty solidly superhuman. I have this information second hand.

She Hulk's ex actually does have some durability, IIRC, just not sure how much. mmm

As for Bowser, he might be stronger than Luke Cage. He's actually insane strong, he's caught cannon balls out of the air large than he is. (Iron is not a light material) He's also lifted his own castle and thrown it while giant, and resisted the pull of a black hole that apparently had comparable gravity to Earth or something.

The last two characters are from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Shining armor threw her hard enough under his own power that she could steer up high enough to make the curvature of the Earth visible.

What is the launch point's height?

That's actually a pretty good question. I had envisioned a lay out like the field where Olympic Javelin tosses take place.

Then I give it to bowser and peach.

Who would you give the nod to on an elevated platform? Shining Armor/Cadence?

Probably. Her wings make her more aerodynamic, but I don't think SA can get her high enough to beat bowser on a flat surface, but with a elivated launch bad they have enough room to get soe air under her. I only have about a high school understanding of physicist, so I could be way off though.

Bowser could toss Peach hundreds upon hundreds of feet, and Peach is immune to gravity, and could float down, they likely win.

I'd say he's that strong! Considering that his jumps can break bricks, and he matches up well in strength to Mario, who's incredibly strong himself, he should do quite well.

Bowser could toss Peach hundreds upon hundreds of feet, and Peach is immune to gravity, and could float down, they likely win. He is crazy strong, but Peach floats pretty slowly, she'd be best to let his forward momentum carry her as far as possible before floating.

Depending on what Bowser, it could easily be him. So I'm actually gonna just go ahead and say him.
