Amen has nothing to do with Egypt. I've heard that time and time again. When you try to link these things to ancient Egypt, you fall flat.

"Oh, Amen stands for Amun-Ra" or "Amen stands for Amenhotep" or "Israel stands for Isis, Ra and El"

Hogwash!

1) The word "amen" is a Hebrew word meaning something to the effect of "so let it be" or "truthfully".

2) "Amen/Amun" is a Greek/Latin reconstruction of the Egyptian "Yamanu". In ancient Egypt, they did not say "Amen" or "Amun" in reference to their sun god.

3) Yisra-el is a Hebrew word meaning something to the effect of "fights with God"

Hebrew people and Egyptian people are two different peoples. Two different customs. Two different histories.

Ok, I'd be happy to give you examples:

Jordan Maxwell, in his movie "The Naked Truth" (and everything else he's ever put out, tbh) with no sources whatsoever.

Acharya S., also known as D.M. Murdoch, in her book "The Christ Conspiracy" (and everything else she's ever put out, tbh) with no sources whatsoever.

Those are the two biggest examples, and are usually the works that are cited when people make such claims.

"Zeitgeist" makes reference to the above two examples. Acharya S. was even cited on their bibliography.

H.P. Blavatsky said very similar things in her publication "Lucifer Magazine" in the 1880s. Again, with no sources whatsoever.
