Doomsday interrupts the Cell Games and crashes down next to the tournament's namesake before Goku gets a chance to step up. Seeing the hulking alien pissed and wanting to fight the nearest living thing, the Saiyan warriors back down to see what happens next.

This is the Doomsday that first appeared and not the current one.

Which scientific abomination that is capable of killing the likes of Goku and Superman will win?

Cell. He has the same abilities as Doomsday, but he comes back a lot faster and has more options.

I disagree, honestly. I just can't imagine Cell putting Doomsday down. shrug

How fast does Doomsday come back? It takes Cell a little while, and it notably drains his energy. The only things Cell's bringing to the table are ki beams.

I know DD's regen is more potent. Wonder how effective his evolution ability is.

His more powerful attacks(Cell) would take down Doomsday. And Cell can regenerate from a single cell, and if he's damaged even close to that much, he pulls a Saiyan and gets a huge power boost.

Probablly Cell or Stalemate. It depends on how long you say it takes for Cell to regen or DD to evolve to count as a win for the other. Cell has a few attacks that may keep DD at bay for a while but with DD evolving I dont think he has enough to keep him down or away permanently. Then Cell can reform from a single cell so I doubt DD can do any more damage beyond that.

And everytime Cell respawns, he gets a huge power boost due to his Saiyan DNA.

yes and theoretically DD should just keep evolving past Cell's attacks so thats why I say stalemate. Rinse & Repeat

But Doomsday can be killed. Cell can't. Well he can, but I meant Doomsday isn't able to permanently kill him. Same with Cell, but Cell can kill Doomsday longer than Doomsday can...you know what, yeah, Stalemate.

Gohan punched Cell so hard that he ended up puking out Android 18. If Doomsday, someone who's thousands of times stronger than Gohan at that point hit Cell, than Cell would be at least be KO'd long enough to claim a victory

DOS Doomsday wasn't all that powerful. Cell wins.

If it's a more powerful version of DD like HP, he would win.

Not seeing it either. Cell is easily more mobile and as far as i recall, he came back from puking android 18, trying to suicide bomb the place but gets teleported and came back from another dimension as perfect cell again but stronger than ever.

Cell kills Doomsday once, then absorbs him before he revives.

Doomsday incenerates him via lightning breath

In all seriousness though Doomsday could one shot Cell, since Gohan was able to hit him so hard he spit out android 18.

At the same time Cell has shown that he can regenerate from a single cell

Maybe a stalemate. Unless Doomsday can KO him or Cell nukes the planet leaving DD afloat

Cell isn't capable of seriously injuring DD

Totally agree. HP doomsday was adapting on the fly and potentially adapt to counter KI attacks which would totally put cell In a tough spot.

This same adaption but put instantaneous as in portrayed in H/P would wreck Cell.

DOS doomsday, the first incarnation of him being used here would lose more often than not. (not due to physical confrontation in my opinion)

Cell would probably detonate inside of him. A point blank planet buster in his insides probably wouldn't do Doomsday good.

He regenerated because there was something left for him to regenerate to.

You seriously think an all out kamehame wave from the air would leave traces of Doomsday adapt to?

Unlike Z soldiers, Cell doesn't have any care whether Earth Gets destroyed. He has cells from Freeza that will allow him to space even if the planet was destroyed.
