Trying to remember the title of an older horror movie (70s maybe) that may have involved the occult, evil kids (or kids as kidnapped victims), and the strange ending where everyone has disappeared instead they find some paper cutouts/drawings of all the people/kids in the attic (or basement)...something to that effect. Can't recall if the house had secret passages or caves?

I recall a man and woman trying to solve the mystery but in the end they can't find anyone except some paper drawings or cutouts of people...leading the viewer to wonder if it all really happened.

Please help! Not remembering the film's title is driving me crazy!!

The paper doll thing sounds a little like L J Smith's book, The Forbidden Games. Dunno if it was ever made into a movie though.
