Ok heres a new one cause it appears no one likes that question - please state a full answer with sufficient background details of the connection of Jim Carrey and Keanu Reeves - with 1 person as a link - it must be interesting.

Ok, well the easiest one is Jeff Daniels. He was in dumb and dumber with Jim Carey, but he was also in Speed with Keanu. Not especially interesting. Let me come up with a better one.

Oh blimey, forgot about this! The answer to mine was 'Star Trek: The Motion Picture', made with the planned cast for the aborted series 'Star Trek Phase Two'. Ten years later a new series (TNG) was made after all but the original cast was too old and they had killed the new onws in the first film! Riker is exactly the same as Decker from the first film for that reason- same character concept, different name.
