oh, for sure, not saying they are close to equals, but certainly her high-end power output feats should give her a win if she has access to the PF against Black

The last I remember was her during the Realm of Kings stuff. I believe some of the force was taken from her by a member of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard at some point, so I think she still can access it, just in very limited ways.

I wish she would just keep the whole force and just wreck shit.

idk, a good X-Men story that didn't rely heavily on the Grey mythos would be fun too :P

Poor Rachel is a failure. Just look at what Necrom did with a SLIVER of the PF he had that he couldn't even access unless Rachel used her power.

She tossed Nova around like a ragdoll and caused him to stumble back.

And she didn't cheap shot him. She came up, rather pronounced, and overpowered him - hungry or no defeating Galactus is a significant feat for a lesser Phoenix avatar. I believe he may have even struck first.

And he decided not to separate her from the force because it would be bad for the universal rebirth cycle.

It accomplished nothing

She blew up his machine that had enough energy in it to knock Galactus all the way to the ground with nearly no warning other than her being a stupid character.

Cheapshot might not have been the best word to use, but her first attack came without warning that opened up a machine with enough energy in it to blast a weakened Galactus quite a distance away.

Doesn't change anything.

rachel no longer has the phoenix. all the fragments had been pulled away and reunified before avx IIRC. as of now, the phoenix is gone. when it does return, it's probably gonna be quentin quire's turn, unless adult jean comes back with it.
