I'd imagine they're responsible for millions of deaths due to their use of weather powers.

Anyone think of more collateral death causing "heroes"?

HOTM Hulk if he unleashed on earth.

Wolverine since he don't mind cutting anyone or anything

Gambit possibly.

This isn't about potential (which would make all the highest heralds equal because they can all destroy the Earth), but about the incidental side-effects ("real world"wink of the actions taken by heroes.

For example, Hulk's smashing breaks buildings, without Banner's hyper-brain, there would be thousands of casualties but instead there are none.

Storm on the other hand, ****s with weather systems (chaotic systems, apparently), causing untold damage across the globe and killing untold millions.

Magneto (if he was a hero) would fall into this category too.

Anyone think of more collateral death causing "heroes"? they dont cause collateral damage. neither does magneto for that matter. their control over their powers is fine and precise enough to get exactly what they want and nothing more. this has actually been explored a number of times.

the thing about the butterfly effect affecting weather is that any power that caused pressure or temperature shifts, even very minute ones, meaning almost all superpowers, would produce the butterfly effect on weather. this is simply not a factor in comics or a big deal inreal life for that matter.

Post the scans where it's shown that they've caused "millions of deaths due to their use of weather powers."

supposedly storm's powers draw from the atmosphere and the precipitation she causes is pulled from the water cycle, so if she causes a storm in the desert then that area will be more bereft of moisture until it naturally accumulates to normal levels. thor magically causes storms so he has no effect on the natural climate

her power could be extremely hazardous

Not sure if serious thread?

Both of them have a fine control of their power. But where Storm is more or less limited to natural phenomenon to manipulate, Thor is not. We've actually seen issues where Thor basically uses localized storms or effects, sparing civilians and Avengers from harm, but focused entirely on enemies.
