Which Nabu?

Cogito
GDS Darkseid

Despite the obvious circumstances in his favor, GDS Darkseid easily trounced PC Mordru, who ought to be leaps and bounds above Nabu. Add in the other stuff he did and IMO it seals it in his favor.

Any particular reason? Sure. He held his ground against Spectre, when Thunderbolt was treated as a bug. He also roughly stalemated Mordru, who was also shown beating the same 5th dimensional being and basically no-sold Shazam in the Rock of Eternity.

In short, all 3 of them are roughly on the same level and above a 5th dimensional being and Shazam inside the Rock of Eternity.

GDS Darkseid is the ultimate skyfather, but they're above even that.

Context.

Nabu was trying to get the Spectre to kill him, and was basically asking the Spectre why he wasn't doing it right away. Basically the Spectre wasn't trying very hard at that point. Yes, he was, actually. Spectre was making it very clear that he was trying to kill him right from the start. The fact that he was able to do so only when he went 'grab all teh magicks' just shows how powerful Nabu is.

1. DS in GDS was not at full power. he had absorbed a dozen or so mystic relics ( say this many because on opanel IIRC we saw that Brainica had enough data to extrapolate where the next assault would be because of artifacts stollen on Tallok that we didn't see on panel added to the on panel ones) to build his power but was still not fully recovered. That was the reason he needed to absorb someone like Mordru as he had " absorbed " all the energy he could from artifacts.

2. Mordru in GDS was also far from his full self power wise. During the earlier JLA/JSA/LoSH cross over a half powered Mordru ( as he stated himself in story his power was reduced to half by all the wizards of Sorcerers world attack which also bound him to Earth in the time period of the 30th Century) one shotted an amped Classic Fate after Fate had absorbed as much energy as Hal Jordan and Alan Scot could give. After this Mordru was attacked by the demons three and depowered Further. In this much lower state he was able to be imprisoned by White Witch and Fate. It was this weaker ( perhaps even more so) Mordru that was broken out by DS's mock recreation of Orion in GDS. Add to which the Mordru that had just been set free by DS's Minions was focused on that minion ( about to reward him for his freedom with Quick destruction) when DS struck him in a surprise attack from behind.

The feat of taking Mordru out in GDS is not as good as it may seem.
YES PC Mordu would be leaps and bounds above Nabu at full power but that isn't the Mordru we saw in GDS. What we saw was one at less than a quarter of his power caught by a surprise attack while distracted. Using that feat as a gauge for GDS DS compared to Nabu is IMO poor ABC logic.

Still undecided as to winner but I don't believe that the GDS DS /Mordru "battle"/confrontation is a fair gauge of anything.
