I have two movies that I saw as a kid that I can only remember vague details for. The first one takes place in the desert, with a small group of military people trekking through the dunes. The only real detail I can remember is that at one point, some dude's legs are sticking up out of the sand (the upper half of his body is submerged under the sand, and he's upside down), and the group finds him this way. The second movie I remember takes place in the western mountains (maybe Colorado), where a group of people happen upon a cabin. I remember there being a cellar with wooden steps inside the cabin, with an uncovered, dirt floor. One of the characters either falls down the steps, or descends them, and once down there, monsters of some kind begin to rise from the floor and grab him. This IS NOT any of the Evil Dead movies...it very well may be a super obscure one. I probably saw this movie on TNT or TBS in the mid-late 90s if that helps at all. Thanks
