Mew-two is teleported to metropolis and proceeds to wreck havoc against his hated foe, the humans. His indiscriminate rampage and destruction attracts the attention of Superman. kal tries to talk mew-two out of destroying and taking over the city but is met with nothing but anger and resentment.

Who wins this fight? This is the justice league cartoon Superman.

From what I remember of that cartoon, MewTwo should win. He has more psychic power than I recall Superman having physical might, and he's pretty fast. Does cartoon Supes share his Comic self's resistance to mental attacks? I can't recall that either.

My memory is basically shit.

Wouldn't Supes multiple FTL movement speed end the fight the instant it started? I mean MT wouldn't have enough time to even think to conjure a shield before his head is reduced to a greasy smear on the ground....

Mew-twos saving grace is CIS as they are fighting in character and superman doesn't blitz everything that he sees as a threat. If he did his show would of been seriously boring and most likely not have gotten more than one season. Dudes like toy man where a threat for a whole episode and despite a ram/tackle here and there later in a fight he never speed blitzed much of anything.

Justice League cartoon Superman isn't pre-crisis superman: he cannot move anymore near the speed of light in the cartoon. Flash doesn't even move light speed in the show (he comes close, once, when fighting a Braniac-amped Lex).

Mewtwo on the other hand can move so fast or speed up his perception of time that others seem to pause. So Supes at his fast would probably appear slowed down at least a bit, but that would be more than enough for Mewtwo.

All about speed if Supes is to win.

The best we've seen from Superman can be matched/bested by strong normal Pokemon attacks like from Gengar, Dragonair and Gyarados. M2 can casually deflect their power. That along with his powers more than likely working, no shown resistance, I'd say M2 takes the majority unless speed changes everything.


Some calcs put fast legendary Pokes (like M2) in the Mach 100 range, along with M2s own attack/beam speed. Likely doesn't compare to Superman's, though I'm not sure how fast this version is. Still, should be enough to tag him.

Fastest JLU Superman fight-speed I can recall off the top of my head was when he finally unleashed himself and went all out on Darkseid(cos he was being a dick again), he was blurring speeds.

Well, Flash did reach the sun from Earth in less than a minute.

If mew-two is as big of a threat as many think I'd bet superman would cut loose Like he did with Darkseid. That being said do you see that superman taking mew-two opposed to the more mundane power levels he limits himself due to our world of cardboard?

This is interesting. Mew two has the advantage with his mental Ability and regenerative capability. (I remember seeing somewhere it could regenerate from near fatal wounds) iv seen superman in the cartoons get attacked mentally and given great pain such as in the society episodes against gorilla Grodd. I'd put mew two over Grodd. Martian manhunter and others have forced imagery into his head and the such which leads me to think that Kal isn't as mentally fortified than his comic counterpart despite having a relatively high pain tolerance (again, shown with Grodd)

His TK is how he flies and given the OP set up I'd say there is enough cars and rubble to move around and bash Superman with if not use it to effect him directly and hinder his movement/speed/reflexes.
Also given his utter hate and malice toward humans here he might even fling ppl up into the air and take advantage if needed or just because.

I think superman would put up a good fight and do some damage but otherwise it's his loss.

Versatile brick vs telepath? Don't really remember much from the cartoons, are Unlimited episodes allowed to be used as well? Probably loses, Manhunter would've been a better match-up.
