Unless the Guardians manage to acquire a younger version of Clyde Wyncham who would then go on to battle the Marquis and subsequently weaken him sufficiently that he can be depowered by breaking down the fabric of spacetime, there is literally no way that they can avoid getting sadistically raped to death, ressurrected and then sadistically raped to death again and again ad nauseum.
