Barda has better stats. And I'm not talking bout measurements.

As Characters go Brunhilde is a shite load more interesting.

Barda may be over double her strength but that is where the advantage ends. They're about on par for Durability and damage soak. Certainly skill, and also speed. I don't see Barda's mega rod doing her much good as really Dragonfang should be able to absorb it's blasts. Both have dimensional travel ( as leader of the valkerie I assume Brunhilde still has that ability??). I would say based on teh strength and even in other areas Barda takes it, unless Brunhilde can make her a Valkyrie (which IIRC is one of her powers to make other women avatars) and win by bringing her to her cause.

Valkyrie has more than a couple of feats where in spite of being over matched in terms of physicality and power, she's able to hold her own against Thor. If Val is at her best, the stat advantage (while certainly being an advantage) Barda has wouldn't be an overwhelming one.

While Val could certainly block Barda's long ranged attack, it still adds another disadvantage for her.

Why not? Barda is Wondy level in strength. She's as skilled if not more skilled, plus she has ranged capabilities.

Not at KMC though. Its a huge outlier. If we're going by high end outliers, she knocked out Surfer, Dr. Strange, Namor and Hulk once with a surprise shot too.

Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, and Tundra would be the tough bits... but it is doable.

Several of the names listed are no help against her. Some like Storm are potentially helpful but also could be taken out fast.

^No way Barda can take on that line-up and win. Lol.

Current Valkyrie wrecks shop, too much for Barda. Heck, her original incarnation was able to hurt freaking Odin:

A lot of the time in vs. threads, I just see literally only Bada's best feats but Valkyrie's highs are just as good if not better. Barda was once able to put down Superman with her Omega Rod but Valkyrie's taken on Thor and Hulk. She's also really fast:

I could definitely see Barda taking most of that lineup, especially since they weren't fighting all that intelligently. Storm didn't want to harm her and because of that, was taken down.

If Barda can use her Mother Box and Megarod intelligently, she can take Valkyrie, IMO.

Seriously though, she really can't hurt Odin.

But.....she did. It's pretty crazy, but she was created by Odin himself as his first Valkyrie a long time ago according to this current series.

Fair enough, they weren't giving it their all either.

I don't know. Dragonfang can block any of her energy blasts but something like a sword through the chest will do more to incapacitate Barda then a mace to the face will to Valkyrie.

i'd still take barda for a decent majority. val has some nice highs, but some of her lows are....low. given her overall depiction, i'd def side with barda who has pretty consistently been in ww's tier.

Val is lucky a man wasnt present otherwise she would be on the floor on all fours

Current Valkyrie's dark rage mode only has two showings so that is her average. If she stays her normal mortal self, Barda wins after a decent scrap depending on what level they respectfully are.

If she becomes Rage, she breaks Bada imho.

fair enough. i've only seen what you've shown me of this new incarnation. that's...weird though. not sure val really needed that sort of push. lots of other characters in the thor pantheon could have done with that kind of focus. least imo.
