Slay
Bela Tarr's 7.5 hour long behemoth of a film. Melancholic, dark, beautiful and in many ways reminiscent of the great Tarkovsky pitted against the controversial sophomore film by young French cinematic genius Gaspar Noe, infamous for it's gratuitous depiction of rape and murder but hailed for it's intricate examination of what people are capable of and how violence can come from nowhere and from the unexpected. Which do you prefer?
