Why make spite threads? Just don't get it (unless you don't know about either character).

For those who actually read the Moore stories they could see how he has a chance.

Did you read the aforementioned stories?

More ignorance.

The CAPTAIN BRITAIN TPB by Moore is fairly cheap.

Pick one up.

^how exactly do you see this as a close battle? how do you see thanos going up against an omniversla threat?(Assuming this 616 but even if it isn't he's still multiversal at least)

no expression

My favorite piece of comic book literature is Moore's arc involving MJJ,
and likewise his masterpiece via Watchmen.

This is 616 Mad Jim Jaspers.

When The Fury encountered jsspers he was able to rely upon his knowledge of the universe to shift Jaspers away from his strength. Its reasonable that Thanos can pull off the same feat.

Mad Jim has all of his CIS intact here , that means monologing and erratic behavior. That gives Thanos a chance to duplicate The Fury feat.

Fury only beat him because Jim created it in the first place to be able to kill any super being. It took a reality warper to create an infinitely adapting robot capable of killing a reality warper.

And when has Thanos ever shown the tech or power to shift a reality warper(against their will) out of reality?

.....so you actually believe that thanos can resist omniversal level reality warping and bfr MJJ into un space and kill him, all of this under his own power???

thanos wouldn't last a second.

I thought you were just high on sour-diesel and wanted to get a laugh out of this,
now I realize ... you're serious.

Anyway, the Fury, which could withstand unharmed
Spacial/Temporal nullifications on a cosmic scale,
also immune to Jaspers warp,
also having unparalleled adaptation abilities ...

... battled MJJ across UniverseS. It was able to teleport MJJ into
other realities cause it was not only immune to his warp, but it's
incredible durability (far greater than Thanos) allowed it to last long
enough to find a way to win. (which is its main capability)

Thanos is badass ... but nothing compared to Moore's Fury.
