Why wouldn't Batman be the body and DD the mind? Or just make Batman the mind and body.

Batman is severely hindered by such a limited body Doomsday's mind in Batmans body would get itself killed pretty quickly. Not like Bats would be inheriting it's durability. This wouls be like watching two body builders fight Matrix style.
