It doesn't really matter how you make the match ups. Classic Strange, SS and Hellstrom can take down anyone here. No one on team Avengers can really take down GR or SS and Starhawk and SS can speed blitz anyone. The only weak link on Defenders is Namor and currently he has the Phoenix Force so when that's your weak link your pretty much kickin' anyone @$$ all over the place.

Even without the PF power, Namor is not going down easy

That Defender lineup might be the most powerful lineup in superhero team history

Its like me plucking Keeper Surfer for the Defender team

This was a Golden age line up a few times. Take Starman off and the rest were ALL in All Star Comics #3 where the JSA debuted. We are taking about a team that had 3 reality warpers PLUS a guy who could manipulate time, matter, size, space and dimension in their original line up, and were joined shortly after by a guy wielding comic power ( admittedly until Jay left Johnny Thunder was just team mascot but he was still there).

Avengers.

You obviously haven't read many comics... Classic Strange didn't want anything to do with SENTRY; he was literally afraid. Hyperion has been shown to be a BEAST. Iron Man in the past has beaten The HULK repeatedly as well as beating SS too.

I'm going with The Avengers... GREAT fight though

no the 30+ years I've collectd comics i haven't read many at all. in the 70's and 80's when I used to get between 50 to 70 titles a month absolutly nothing. when Sentry has the ability to break the binds of Living Tribunal, can defeat Dormammu in his own realm, and is the guy Eternity goes to for help to save him drom destruction we can talk about sentry taking on Classic Strange with any chance of success

lol at the entire marvel u having there memory wiped by sentry, he wiped earths memory of him, failed with hulk as he remembered him as golden man. It was just earth 616 that had there memories wiped of sentry

Uhhh... yeah... Duh 616 MARVEL Universe was what we weren't talking about NOT Ultimate, or OU812. NOT an ALTERNATE Universe. It didn't say Universes.
