Each member of the Angiris Council can battle Diablo. Imperious has killed Diablo more then once.

Nah. Diablo humiliated Imperius in their battle. It was only with the intervention of the 4 other Archangels that Diablo was defeated.

Imperious was still soloing Diablo..which none of the others could do.

He got his ass kicked... Any of the other members of the Angiris Council could get their ass kicked by Diablo as well.
