"Come, let us return to the task at hand," replied Marr. At this point, the commanders of the ship knew they were here. They would have to do their work quickly, lest they be too late. As they advanced, there was a large blast door blocking their route. Marr charged his power, and sent a mighty force wave at the door. With a loud blast, the door slammed open, and three jedi, one a master, two knights, went to confront them. As the battle ensued, the two sith drew their blades, and charged at the jedi. The jedi sent telekenetic waves at the opposition, only to have them batted away by their force barriers. Marr took on the two knights as Thanaton dueled the master. Marr's speed left the jedi knights astounded, though this was shortlived, as Marr quickly dispatched them with a swift strike of Makashi. Thanaton was battling the master to a standstill, till thanaton unleashed a telekenetic push of energy, slamming the master against the wall, dropping his lightsaber. Thanaton took this opportunity to blast a stream of force lightning, killing him quickly.
As they advanced to the entrance of the bridge, a squad of elite soldiers was stationed there, along with a male togruta, wielding two lightsabers. They attacked swiftly, and without hesitation. The speed of the togruta caught Thanaton off guard, and he ended up in a heap on the floor. Marr lashed out with rage,and all of his adversaries were smashed into the door barring their entry. The soldiers, unable to protect themselves, were slumped to the ground, dead, their bones broken and crushed. The jedi, on the other hand, created a force barrier to protect himself from the worst of the sudden attack. Marr engaged the Togruta, only to find that the alien's skill with the lightsaber matched his own. Enraged, Marr sent another force wave at the Togruta. At that moment, Marr felt the presence of another, bolstering this opponent's speed and skill.
"Another jedi's hand is at work here," thought Marr. As the jedi got back up on his feet, they had a quick sequence of clashes. At this point, a dozen bolts of lightning arced at the jedi, who was unable to create sufficient defense. He was engulfed in agony, and the sith relished in his suffering. The jedi had fallen, being nothing but a smoking corpse. "Our main objective is beyond this door," said Marr.
"I am ready to kill," replied Thanaton, in an eager tone. Their final objective lay before them, and this would be their toughest battle yet. Jedi Knight Satele Shan was considered by many to be the most prodigious jedi knight in history, and Jaric Kaedan was the order's best swordmaster. But Marr knew that they were more than capable of the challenge, being the most powerful dark councilor to date, and Thanaton being a very powerful sith sorcerer.
