GST was SUPPOSEDLY potentially more powerful than God. If that is true, what chance does Nekron have?

Im trying to figure out if this was a hyperbole or not but the fact that the word intervened shows that it wasn't; ridiculous.

Anyway, if we really do accept that, then Swamp God wins, no question.

The Word itself made that statement whilst conversing with Phantom Stranger. His statements are as valid as God's would be, so I see no reason to question him.

Like you said: the fact that The Word came to earth specifically to kill ST and the Parliaments should suffice as proof that ST did possess that order of power.

Agreed. Considering the purpose of the word and the clear writers intention of deliberately using him to lend credibility to the seriousness of the whole thing makes it pretty straight forward that ST power was at the least in the same league as The Presence.
