Anakin is in the zone, and gets time to fully rest and recuperate after each match in the Cato Nemoidian arena. Every enemy is at the peak of his/her power with the force, and saber prowess.

How far does Zonakin get in this gauntlet? If you think he loses, explain when and why.

Anyone ever wondered what the point of a gauntlet is if we just give them full rest and recup. between each round?

He made all Dooku's immense power into a complete joke. Don't see Plagueis doing that.

But seriously, the reason is because the matches are getting harder as he goes, so he will likely be taxed to the absolute limit of his abilities in the last few fights, I want to give him rest so he could at least have a fighting chance.

Hyperbolic. Anakin's battle with Dooku didn't seem as one sided as that in the movie. I doubt Dooku could fare much longer against Plagueis.
