MacReady isnt really a fighter, hes smart, hes a survivor, but hes not a combatant or skilled fighter, whereas Kirk has shown time and again he is (not to mention his military background, and hes damn cunning as well). Kirk wins this.

Macready is Antarctic Jesus with a flamethrower incarnate. He stomps.
