I just got off watching the movie and I am completely blown away. Although Jackman and Gylenhaal have given their career best Paul Dano's performance is no less. I think he should get an Oscar (best supporting) for his role as the disturbed kid Alex. There are very few movies like this and frankly after 'silence of the lambs' (1992) this has the strongest plot in the suspense thriller category.
