What exactly did the SOD do again?

It can harm, imprison, or outright kill pretty much anything-- it has tooled Spectre multiple times over the years, injured the water elemental Naiad, and even threatened Gaea herself.

Nazis also used the SoD to prevent any heroes from interfering with WWII in Europe.
