Whoaa that's pretty big TV news. If even a couple of these are big hits that would put them ahead of WB/DC on the TV front.

Does anyone know who would have the rights to produce a Live Action Spider-Man? Could Marvel studios do that?

No Sony has the rights for live action.Marvel has the animated rights.

How would that put them ahead? It's a start, but WB/DC released they will be doing a Constantine, Gotham, Hourman, and possibly Wonder Woman. Not to mention Arrow.

BTW, REALLY interested in Iron Fist and Cage shows. Should be fun.

One thing that I forgot is that I need to get Netflix to watch these shows. Or I can wait and watch it online for free or something. Same thing annoyed me when I had to wait and watch Arrested Development.

I don't pay for Netflix so I might miss, however if the cast is people I can like then I will change my mind

Luke Cage will kick ass

Apparently these characters can still get movies if they end up being popular on Netflix.

Some of their shows are really good like House of Cards and The Fall (not an exclusive). I almost dropped Netflix, I'm glad I didn't.

I watch shows on Netflix all the time. (X-Files, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Arrested Development, Freaks & Geeks) Now I have an even better reason to keep it!

I just realized, Scott Adkins would be absolutely perfect for daredevil. Marvel needs to cast him right ****IN NOW

Physically he'd be perfect to play A superhero, just not sure its daredevil. I'm hoping this show will be equal parts action and drama and for that they'll need one hell of an actor.

Physically and appearance-wise Adkins would be perfect.

I actually think Adkins has the perfect look for a Bruce Wayne.

So far DC TV strategy is working better then Marvels. With MAoS getting better that could change.

He's a great actor, but he doesn't look like a superhero

I actually think he looks alot like Matt Murdock in that picture. The only concernis his age, but he looks like he could easily pass for someone 10 years younger.

Given his resume, he could definitely pull it off

Hawkeye is gonna have a big role in Avengers 2 apparently

With that 200 million dollar budget, Marvel could certainly get Jonah Hill. I wouldn't even say he's an A-lister, more so a B+ lister. The A-list is reserved for the likes of Leo, Tom Hanks, Bruce Willis etc...

Thinking of it...Jonah Hill actually wouldn't be a bad choice for Foggy Nelson at all. But I'm all the hyped for the Daredevil one. If they play their cards right, it could be absolutely huge.

Jon Favreau as Foggy Nelson was one of the best things about the Daredevil movie. I'm most concerned about who is going to play Matt; the rest I can live with.

On topic I'd like Jason Segal as Foggy & Isaiah Mustafa as Luke Cage.

I'd really like Ice Cube as Tombstone if they have him, and I'd get John Goodman as Kingpin.

Until I see a better one, I still say Michael C Hall is the dead wringer to play Matt Murdoch IMO.

I LOVE Adkins. The dude is a phenom. But you need one hell of an actor to pull off Daredevil the way he's meant to be seen. Adkins just isn't as proven as a Hall. I hope this series is a blend of action, thriller and drama. If done as well as the comics, it could be an epic show on the level of some of the best we've ever seen. It has all the potential to be on the level of a House of Cards. You need a actor's actor to take it there.

Also I don't think Hall is too old at all. Jeremy Renner is older than Hall and he's playing Hawkeye(someone around Matt's age) and Hall can pass for someone 10 years younger.

I hope the fight choreography is on point, this series has 2 of Marvels premiere MAs and I hope they feel different in style.

Daredevil and Iron fist are the two I'm most psyched for.

I really hope it looks brutal like Cap 2's fights.

How about Drew Goddard being replaced by Steven Deknight as showrunner? I'm a little disappointed that Goddard's out, but I hear Deknight wrote well for Sparticus. Also he's written some awesome Angel episodes - and Angel was kind of a "hero for hire" show.

I really hope Daredevil is more like Wolverine, a very serious character with Luke & Danny and in his solo Foggy as the comic relief guys. I hope we get some B.A. rogues to show up also though I'm not sure who Sony has & who Marvel gets, ill definitely love a GSP/Batroc cameo & an Elektra done right.

I wonder how he'll do it. It would be dangerous at his age to get fat for the role, like he did for Full Metal Jacket in 1987. Just as long as he exudes danger and menace.

I like the size difference at about 6" but with movie magic and a girth suit hopefully KP is a beast.

I like the casting. He's a good actor, and if they don't make him ultra-fat I will be OK with it. As long as he's bald and imposing, he should be OK.

I actually think I like the kingpin casting more than Daredevil's actor.

That last bit about marvel not planning to do anything with Big Hero 6 could bite them in the @ss if that movie does wreck it ralph or even Frozen level success.

Sounds a bit confusing for Marvel to mess around with right now when they have so many other properties they can use.

That's just a rumor, Marvel might be simply taking their sweet time to get it right.

Yeah I don't put much stock into that. They have the perfect blueprint to start with in the Matt Fraction Iron fist run.

That's like saying Avengers is silly compared to TDK tbh.

Daredevil has that dark, gritty, realism, grounded tone going for it, whilst Flash is just superpowered comic book fun.

Where do you guys want Rand to be Stat wise?

Do you want the more gritty DD vs Hand Ninja and Cap vs WS or something more akin to a Kung fu Spider-Man?

The run by Brubaker and Fraction showed the perfect power level for Iron fist in a movie or show in my opinion. DD should handle grounded while Iron fist is more over the top.

BTW, saw Pacific Rim, I could really see Charlie Hunnam as Danny.
