So a low meta vs. a Superboy villain? Or is the dcnu version much weaker?

He hasn't shown to be superboy level yet. He's still pretty formidable, though.

Current Scorpion got upgraded twice by Smythe, but it's still Gargan whose main hobby is losing...

Is Kingshark fast enough to keep up with Gargan, he is easily stronger.

Speed is a good question. He's durable enough to withstand his attacks, IMO.
