And only at the end does a single bead of sweat drip down.

So he never struggled even once.

Thor's Hammer apparently. laughing out loud

LordofBrooklyn
Bench-pressing the weight of the Earth for 5 days.

All are great feats, unless hulk made them, in that case they suck.

Brockalizer
Overriding Line's enchantment and lifting Mjolnir would be the most impressive.

Bouboumaster
Pulling a planet three time the size of Earth together, against the force that was tearing it appart.

thumb up

Forgot about that. Hulk is a monster. What about him punching someone in thestomach causing planetary destruction on earth.

Has anyone ever lifted mjolnir with pure strength

No.

Simon had one of the more creative lifts of Mjolnir.

All of those feats look meaningless compared to the one below (assuming it's canon) :

Xenith, Gladiator's cousin(?), lifts AND tosses Stormbreaker to BRB.

I always think about it

Mjolnir is on a planet and then Someone tries to lift it, He "can't" so he goes and just lift the planet.

This was explored with the Rulk/Thor fight, You can't lift Mjolnir? simply, just lift Thor.

Similar scenario with Juggernaut, Juggernaut is on a rampage on a barren moon, He cannot be stopped, logical course of action? throw the moon into a sun. There, problem solved.

This is the equivalent of failing to pull the sword out of the stone and then just lift the stone with the sword on it, smash the stone and there, you have your sword.

Sadly, no sad

I don't even know what series it comes from, I'm guessing Star Masters? I saw it a while ago when Ahbi posted it. She's also crushed Ravenous (you know, Annihilus' right hand man). She's pretty beastly.

Mindship
My 2 cents worth, from least greatest to greatest, how it "should" be:

- Pushing a planet with ease*
- Punching a hole in a Celestial
- Crushing a GL ring**
- Stopping Juggernaut
- Budging Mjolnir

* This is the only feat that's actually quantifiable. The Earth's kinetic orbital energy is about 10e33 joules. To stop the Earth and push it back "with ease," you'd have to be well in this ballpark range. By comparison, the Sun's energy output per second is about 10e26 joules. Basically, you'd need at least 4 months worth of total solar power to stop the Earth in its orbit and push it backwards..."with ease."

Sorta puts the rest in perspective, especially the feats powered by supernatural means.

** Not sure about this one.

Ahh, fun with numbers. It's been a while. smokin'

That's from Cosmic Power Unlimited and BRB's power was waning at that time due to several reasons. One of the reason why she lifted it.

Xenith, Gladiator's cousin(?), lifts AND tosses Stormbreaker to BRB. That is from Cosmic Powers Unlimited #5, which is canon.

The issue prior, Throkk lifted Stormbreaker as well:

In this series, Bill and Stormbreaker were resurrected by Surfer and Odin combining their energies. The finished product resulted in a being who was no longer recognizable as an Asgardian, which is why Odin no longer permitted him in Asgard:

I'm guessing that's why the 'unliftability' of Stormbreaker had clearly diminished.

That wasn't Stormbreaker but Stormbringer. Which was just ridiculously heavy apparently. Xenith wasn't the only one to lift it in that comic. However, she wasn't zapped by lightning like the other guy because he wasn't Worthy of it's power.

Rage.Of.Olympus
Budging Mjlonir.
Punching a hole in a Celestial.
Stopping Juggernaut (bypassing his enchantment).
Pushing a planet with ease.
Crushing a Green Lantern ring.

In that order is how I'd rank them. Lifting Mjolnir is something that is just beyond physical strength imho. Punching a hole in Celestial armor is far above planetary level strength, at least in the Thor comics. Not sure about Green Lantern rings but I'm pretty sure that I've seen one crushed by Superman pretty easily at one point.
