How so? UH was a telepathic beast and a genius to boot. Above Lex, IMO.

Humanite has never impressed me as much as Nate has. Some things Nate has done have had me genuinely respecting the character. That has never happened to me with UH before, and for that I support Nate. Also, this battle did not explicitly specify telepathy as the main focus of their battle, so if Nate really pulls out all the stops with his powers, I cannot see Ultra Humanite winning.

Battle 1 is with prep.

Pre COIE Ultra isn't loosing a prep battle here. he's DC's Doom. Using prep he played with the cosmic balance so that all super heroes on his Earth simply ceased to exist.

Add in the fact that he acquired several artifacts of power. Acquired the reality warping power of a 5th dimensional Imp, mutated his ape body to be in the league of Superman ( and we're talking pre COIE here), and more. He has built time machines as early as the 40's, teleporters, devices that control active volcanoes, Brain blockers that make controlling 100's of individuals easy.

I'll grant Xman might win teh TP battle (round 2) but even that would be close. Pre COIE Ultra telepathically controlled and dominated 6 members of Infinity Inc (including two with known TP resistence) from Limbo while they were on earth. He TP communicated with himself across four decades. and he was shown on several occasions to be equal to Brainwave Snr who in All Str Squadron 20 was shown to be able to give even the Spectre a TP nudge that he followed.
