Just saw the new Hobbit Movie, and I must say, I was very pleased.

Now, onto the thread topic. Both know of the other, and know of the opponent's abilities. They are battling in the sky close to The Lonely Mountain. Saphira has no assistance from the Eldunari.

Four rounds:
1. Book Saphira vs. Book Smaug
2. Movie Saphira vs. Movie Smaug
3. Book Saphira vs. Movie Smaug
4. Movie Saphira vs. Book Smaug

Who wins, and why do they win.

Movie versions Smaug clearly dominates.

Never seen that shit movie, and never will, so I have no opinion there.

I think Book Saphira could fairly easily trounce Move Smaug. That's about the only thing I'm more or less sure of.

I was thinking that the response to the Eragon movie was universally negative. Also, I agree, that movie version absolutely sucks.
