Lucifer and his father meet in the sky and after a long conversation, the presence suggests Lucifer join him. Lucifer accepts, but before, must take and complete a challenge that his father has imposed on it.

Lucifer in his challenge, must circumvent and manipulate the following characters:

1. - Rune King Thor

2. - Shuma-Gorath

3. - HoG Ion

4. - Doctor Doom (with the powers of Beyonder Pre-Retcon)

5. - Thanos (with the Heart of the Universe)

6. - The Living Tribunal

7. - Yog-Sothoth

Lucifer with his uncompromising and unwavering will along with a letter of approval to exit its multiverse that his father has given him, travels toward its objectives.

Can the archangel overcome the challenge?

Stops at one because screw Lucifer Morningstar.

Clears it.

Doom would just oneshot kill him.

Stops at Ion if not continues to LT then he may just pass it which shows how much of a plot device his manipulation and intelligence was at least in his story lines. Love Doom and Thanos but they were not capable of controlling the powers they received due basically to their mortal perception and doubts which lucifer would take advantage of.

Doom was able to kill the heroes, the only reason he eventually lost was because Beyonder's meddling. There won't be any plot that stops Doom from oneshotting Lucifer.

Thanos was able to control HOTU, so I don't know what you're talking about there.

Or because Lucifer would just laugh at shuma gorath? Also Lucifer would easily manipulate doom if beyonder without his powers could do it.

Also, unless we're using the Doom specific to SW it's a moot point.

Doom only had Beyonder's power in SW, so its the only version of him used here. Beyonder isn't such a great manipulator to begin with.

Yes, I am aware of when he had the powers; my question is whether TS is using Doom from SW or current Doom with those powers. It's irrelevant anyway, because they will be fighting not having a discussion, so Doom oneshots him.

Not really. The question isn't about whether Lucifer can beat Doom. Its whether he can manipulate Doom.

He certainly can. If there wasn't going to be any actual fighting, what's the point of choosing cosmic level characters?

If he had controlled it properly he would have seen it as the device used to fix the imbalance which the supreme being of marvel TOAA had created so he was still limited in view. Thanos felt like he had to make a decision because he was a puppet and simply played into a superior intellect's plan as inferred by himself on panel. As for Doom he as well didn't have control of the power either. What the Beyonder did to regain his powers was much less cunning and subtle than what happened to thanos. So again both definitely didn't have control of their powers or they would have never gone back to being anything less than omnipotent/omnipresence/omniscience the very least that much is very obvious y argue against it? Would u...

Is Yog-Sothoth stronger than Living Tribunal? Yog have been defeated by Titus Crow.

The gauntlet is somewhat broken, but Lucifer clears nevertheless.

Lucifer could easily convince Doom to kill himself via the omnipotence paradox. He could probably do that even if he were depowered in this scenario.
