Who wins?

Team Raven.

Only real issue is Magik, who would be trouble for Raven and resistant to Miss Martian's telepathy.

& Hope

Eh, Hope's only real usefulness is her mutant mimicry, which falls flat against a team of non-mutants. Sure she can effectively duplicate the abilities of her team mates, but her greatest ally is in Magik and her powers are largely magic based, with only her stepping discs being a copyable mutant gift.

Phasing won't do much good against Raven/Meggan, or really anyone other than Ravager because they're all flyers - and veritable speedsters to boot.

Armor's greatest feat is downing Fing Fang Foom off panel so idk if she could really hang with the likes of Starfire, Donna, and Meggan.

Laura could do some damage but she's land locked and everyone will be up in the air blasting at her.

Team Magik's only hope is for Magik to soul sword Raven before she gets mind ****ed - which will be difficult because Raven is just as quick as Illyana is at porting around - and even then most of the girls on Raven's team can one hit KO her once she's caught. I know Illyana is resistant to tp but Raven's empathy seems to circumvent conventional psionic rules, demonstrated against Psimon, Mento, and in the (probably not canon) classic Titans/X-Men crossover where she fought through Professor X's psychic backlash and brought him into a calm sleep.

Magik is resistant (if not immue) to empathy as well. Plus she has a ton of spells even on earth .

I agree that outside Magik, team 1 is more powerful but Illyana would be able to port in an army of demons to support them or take them all to Limbo where she can depower everyone or warp reality.

Raven can disrupt unwanted teleportation, as demonstrated against the Azarathians.

Porting in outside help is against forum rules.

Raven's just as likely to port Magik into her own personal "limbo," which has been described as the nexus of all dimensions, where Raven's own powers are at their peak, letting her do things like tap into and search the souls of every living being on the planet.

Would you say Raven at her best is top tier?

Magik can prevent people from teleporting too like Strange, Thor, and other mages and demons.

Her powers of teleportation surpass Raven. She does not need to engulf or touch her targets. She does not even need see her targets plus there is no limit to how many targets she can teleport with thought. She has unlimited range.She would be able to dump everyone into the sun or a different dimension or time period.

Limbo has been described as a nexus to all reality as well.

On earth, she would be able to cast illusions and turn teammates against each other, tele-dismember, turn her team invisible, go astral and intangible, turn people to dust, blow up even characters that have magical immunity, absorb souls and life forces, light people up wit hellfire... and all these attacks are omnidirectional and require just a thought.

Team Magik wins.

I mean Magic could do all that, but she'll probably just dive in with her sword and get gut checked by Donna. She hasn't been all that creative these days.

Plus, Raven doesn't have to touch you or have you come in contact with her soul self, she can invade your soul/mind instantly. Or send weird magic blasts about. Or let go and destroy the universe. Whathaveyou.

well, It's totally in character for Magik to dump her problems in Limbo like big time threats like Juggernaut, Legion, Dormammu down to common and random thugs.

Magik can also enter minds like she did Legion and she started killing of his personalities. She isn't a glass canon like most mages, she can heal, use armor and does brawl w/ super strong demons. In Limbo Dormammu couldn't kill her with everything he had.

How often does Raven turn into Dark Raven or this universe busting beyond sky father level character you speak of? Magik turns into Darkchilde quite often.

Who has a better track record vs top tier opponents in one on one situations? (not being snippy or watever, I am generally curious about of of their track records when it comes to one on one battles vs top tier characters) no prep, no amp, no teammates helping out just random encounter one on one battles.

We should list their best head to head battles vs quality opponents since both characters don't have a lot of screen time compared to more established character w/ solo titles. They don't have enough page time to rack up hundred of feats.

Well, limbo dumping Raven might work, but who knows if she could stop Raven from just porting away. She's literally a porthole herself, so arguing Limbo-mode Magik could stop her from doing so is just conjecture.

For all we know, Limbo would react to Raven's power as well.

None have been successful in penetrating Raven's mind, save for Jericho while she was sleeping (he failed to possess her while awake), and he nearly died. If she managed to get in and dig deep enough, she'd find Trigon... and not even the queen of Limbo wants to find Trigon.

Raven isn't a brick or anything, and certainly doesn't go hand to hand often, but she is a half demon and when possessed revealed that she could actually get physical with the likes of Donna Troy. That being said, she kinda is a glass cannon. And really, so is an unarmored/untransformed Magik. Both can heal, but Raven has a lot of high end healing feats.

Dark Raven is just what she called herself the first time her father took over. The name didn't stick. She's completely different in the DCNU unfortunately but pre-flashpoint she had been in conflict with Brother Blood and was accidentally summoning skyscraper sized bone monsters unto earth and stuff just because she was upset. Pretty much every time she gets overwhelmed or lets go she levels everyone in sight. She really did spread her power all throughout DC Earth when she first brought Trigon through.

As for 1v1 battles, Raven has never worked solo. She contained Darkseid in her soul self for a time... but literally every other fight she has been in has been with the Titans or in a team up.
