obviously mewtwo would probably survive that probably but post your thoughts here

Mewtwo can teleport out of the way or prevent the bomb from going off easily enough, but I doubt it could tank the actual explosion.

I don't think it's ever been hit with that much power before, unless we combine a few sources.

Mewtwo's body is as strong as a persons. He isn't durable enough to take the hit. However his psychic energies and force fields, in my opinion, could easily hold back the explosion.

Mewtwo was at the centre of his large building size violent explosion. Agreed that he could with his psychic powers, if flicking away Gyarados' Hyperbeam says anything.

He could survive if he could avoid getting hit directly, either by moving out of blast range or putting a sturdy enough barrier up if he can. The latter method is largely disputable, however.

He likely wouldn't survive a direct hit, though.

"All" characters must "originate" from a "game". Simply appearing in a game is not adequate, and a nuclear explosion isn't even a character.
