So what;s your best album of 2013? I'm curious now.

Her music never really did a ton for me, but "Personal Record" sounds more promising than Last Summer. Fiery Furnaces are a hoot though. I can't listen to them too often, but I have some of their stuff in my collection.

I liked Yeezus, Reflektor, and Shaking the Habitual. Also Afterman: Descension, The Runaround, and because the internet.

The album that got the most play was easily Evil Friends by Portugal. The Man though.

Haven't heard of Portugal. I'm not sure how closely our musical tastes align, but I'll check them out.

Arcade Fire set their own bar so high that it's almost detrimental. Reflektor is good, but is it "Funeral" good? "The Suburbs" good? It isn't, imo. So I really like it while also being disappointed with it.

I like em a lot. If you're digging them, Satanic Satanist is probably their other really good album.
