Drizzt gets Twinkle and Icingdeath, along with his armor and anklets. Anakin is RotS version, and he may only use the force for speed and to rejuvenate his limbs.

The fight takes place in the Geonossian Arena.

Who wins and why

Dreampanther
Drizzt. Because read the books.

Digi
I've read the books. Anakin wins. Precog and Force speed >> anything Drizzt can do. Allowing any usage of the Force, however passive, creates a potential mismatch in this thread.

Stealth Moose
Precog is implicitly not allowed in the fight, and Drizzt has beat people so fast he can't visually see them most of the time (Dantrag). Plus of the two, Drizzt is a better fighter and more proficient with his twin blades than Ani is with his one, and furthermore Anakin hasn't displayed actual fighting ability faster than anything we can visually see on screen. Dantrag, in comparison, is explicitly too quick for a drow eye to follow in his arm movements when he slaps Drizzt across the face for the first time (showcasing his bracer's haste capability).

The biggest handicap here though is the absence of precog, a huge part of Jedi/Sith fighting. Much of Anakin's reaction feats are attributed to his precog; without it, he has Force-aided speed and otherwise must outfight his opponent instead of anticipating him. Remember, Ani didn't win pod races by being faster than the others so much as seeing things ahead of time, via the Force.

IMO, the lack of precog + Drizzt's longer, more varied fighting expertise + two weapons (providing offense and defense) + Drizzt has 2x leg speed as an agile elf = Drizzt stomps hard.

To Dreampanther, I have read every single one of the Legend of Drizzt, Transition, and Neverwinter books and am currently reading The Companions in The Sundering Series. I know what Drizzt's feats are nearly by heart.

Stealth Moose, to add to your point, after Drizzt killed Dantrag, he took those bracelets, and now wears them as anklets, speeding up his footwork to nearly unfollowable speed to match his already blindingly fast swordplay, so Anakin may be twice as screwed due to that aspect alone.

Stealth Moose
Yeah, so we're basically saying "Anakin, without the benefit of his precog, must stand alone against a dueling legend with magical benefits, on the virtue of his own 10-13 years training". I just don't see it happening.

Robtard
I stopped reading R.A. Salvatore in in late 90's, but gimped Anakin probably can't win.

jmoul
^Salvatore has gotten better as he's gone along. I just finished reading Companions and it is one of Salvatore's best works ever.

NemeBro
So how fast is Drizzt?

Stealth Moose
In one battle, he was dueling two drow fighters, each with two weapons. Jarlaxle, the leader of his opponents (and righteous badass in his own right) decides to chuck some knives into Drizzt while the guy is fighting his mooks. He throws a couple, which Drizzt deflects with his left hand while fighting off the mooks - all four of their weapons - with his right, and Jarlaxle laughs in disbelief at the ridiculousness of it.

In another book, the same knives thrown by Jarlaxle are given a relative speed: specifically, he can have his fifth one in the air before his first even hits.

Drizzt can move damn fast. But not just that; he's instinctively a good fighter and he's incredibly gifted when it comes to getting inside his enemy's head, figuring out their weaknesses, or improvising. It's difficult to relate the level he's on compared to even his fellow dark elves (who are basically elite mooks even when they are mooks), but he is head and shoulders above almost all of them. Only his father and mentor, Zaknafein, and -maybe- Jarlaxle could contend with him among drow; Artemis Entreri among humans.

StealthRanger
Considering Anakin with the force should be above Jax who was able to deflect a laser from 7 meters away with his force enhanced reflexes and is on par with Obi-Wan who is capable of deflecting blaster fire from all directions to the point where his lightsaber's swings move so fast it looks like a blue energy shield has formed around him

Stealth Moose
But all those speed feats involve precog, which he doesn't have here. This thread is pretty much one-sided because of it. Anakin doesn't have experience using the Force without precog, and TPM establishes that his uncanny piloting abilities, which are beyond a normal human's agility, are due to precognition. The fact is, there's simply no way to argue precog-less Anakin, because we can't easily tell when he isn't benefiting from it.
