Keiji Inafune playing his upcoming crowd-funded platformer

Billed as the spiritual successor to Mega Man, which Inafune also created

The game is due out on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in 2015

Honestly if the name of the game was left out and there was no info, I would have thought that was Mega Man. That bothers me a little to be honest. While I loved Mega Man im not so sure that I want to play a game that seems soo much like a clone.

EDIT: Maybe if it was a REALLY cheap download.

Looks superior to Capcom's. Hope they release it on an actual handheld.

Bro SMASH
Looks "superior"? It almost looks identical.

Almost being the critical word. Differences points towards Mighty No. 9 superiority.

Bro SMASH
Being different doesn't make it superior. You need to verify exactly what makes it superior.

Gameplay example looks promising. Artwork is kinda meh as are some of the bosses. Also, dash looks entirely OP.

Considering this game is from the guy who created Mega Man, Pretty sure some of those bosses where meh too

Looks good. I want to buy this game when it comes out.

Also, I know this is asking too much but I want it to come out with a leveling type system where killing enemies earns you XP and you level up to increase your stats....

That sounds horrible, I won't mind it if it can be turned off, but I deplore exp systems on platformers.

I love it especially on Metroidvania type games.

Ever play Symphony of the Night?

Ever play Symphony of the Night?

I like it despite the exp system.

AHA!

I like games like that because visiting old areas that gave you trouble before is SUPER fun to just run right through and one-shot everything. So satisfying to be powerful. smile
