In all seriousness, Superman and any of his clones (aka Brutaal, Ultraman, etc...) could do it (didn't one of them karate chop a herald in half then cauterize the two halves with heat vision?).

Surfer could do it via matter manip/strength.

Hulk could do it if sufficiently angry.

As to rest, I don't know. I have my doubts.

If Hulk can break adamantium a body even Ares' body should not be to hard.

Where did it say that Sentry matter manipulated Ares' physical frame to help him bisect him?

There may be less people than most may believe that could do this to Ares. This of course would suggest that Bob was operating at very high levels at that particular moment in time, in the same way that he snapped Terrax's axe, and later on manhandled Thor. I don't believe that there are too many people capable of doing this to a guy that was able to put Hercules through the paces, even though Herc wasn't going all out against him.

In other words the Sentry feat was a very good one.

Where did it ever say that it wasn't pure strength? Are you adding to the story without having written it yourself? There has been several times that Sentry was seen to fluctuate in power, and that was one of them. It was a good feat for the Sentry nothing more nothing less. Looking at the scan tells me that it was a strength feat. Can you prove your claim?

You can write a block of text that fills an entire page, but where is the proof that it was more than a strength feat? Did he write the book? You have to come with more than that. Did you see Bob hit Ares with energy similar to what he did to Owen in that scan? I didn't.

I agree with you completely. Ares should have dynamic strength potential and other powers to go with his lofty title. Maybe they killed him only to revamp him later? One can only hope.

Really? I've always thought the opposite. Gods such as the Olympians throw around mountains not planets. However, I've always hated how how much more powerful gods like Odin and Thor are then the other Asgardians.
