Twivamps are also way faster than the Wolves, but they conveniently forget to use their speed when fighting them. Wolves must have a speed dampening aura.

In the books it's made pretty clear that the werewolves have superspeed of their own. It's not shown explicitly in the movies, though Jacob does mention it once to Bella.

Yes, I'm aware of that. IMO, its not shown at all in the movies. Vampires (in the book) can move so fast they become invisible - And the wolves are even faster.

Vampires sometimes display such feats (Victoria vs Riley, and Vic/James/Laurent vs guy with the boat), but never against the wolves.

Edward showed superspeed when he fought the buff dude in one of the earliar films.

But that speed was less than the speed Lawless showed when he took down the mob of cops, time seemed to almost stop from his perspective.

Also, he's Asian.
