I had a realization about Sailormoon and noticed that Serena and Mina have names similar to the Williams sisters who are professional tennis players. As you know, The Williams sisters went by the name Serena and Venus and Sailormoon is "Serena" and Mina is Sailor "Venus". Although Mina is not a tennis player like Venus Williams, she was still involved in sports as a pro volleyball player. I always wondered if the Williams sisters had any inspiration to both Serena and Mina.

Not a chance.

Maybe the Williams inspired themselves to name their daughters on the same basis that Sailormoon used to name their characters. It makes like muuuuuuch more sense.
