I'll try and get them later, but it happened in Heroes for Hire v1, written by Outstrander. Iron Fist vs Nitro's exploding fist, ending in Nitro gripping his hand in pain, asking what Danny did to him.

It also hurt Danny, for some reason, but Nitro was through fighting.

IF

Sandman.

IF punches Sandman's atoms apart.

Sandman reforms and punches IF's head off. IF does not reform.

IF uses his chi abilities to sense which sand particle is the master one.

And punches it.

Scans of him using chi to sense particular sand particles.

Nitro's supposed to be basically gas, before he explodes. This proves chi can affect even non physical entities.

And yeah, Danny was knocked out, but this is also before he learned tricks of projecting his chi, or received a power up. And besides, Sandman can't explode.

Doom blew apart Sandman atom by atom and he reformed on next panel.

Good scans. But not the same. Sandman's also received a power up, he now can make multiple doubles of himself each with a mind of its own. Then there's the recent superior team up where he increased his own mass becoming bigger than Empire State Building. And there was no beach anywhere nearby.
