Sidious had taken his acquisition Darth Maul to Coruscant with him to begin initiating the energization of the Thought Bomb. As this transpired, Sidious had also invited Dooku to participate in the ritual. However, as Dooku entered Coruscant, the Jedi intercepted a holomessage between Dooku and his yet-to-be-known Sith Master. In response, Yoda assembled Skywalker and Kenobi, as well as Torrent Company and the 212th Attack Battalion. As the Republic forces arrived to finally put an end to all of them, Maul and Dooku easily used the Force to eradicate the clone troopers.
