Darth Abonis
1.) A Social networking device.

2.) Renewable energy sources.

3.) An example of a planet's global ecological collapse

4.) The creation of new materials

5.) A paperless and cashless society

6.) Brain-machine interfaces.

Thanks.

1) Not really. There is the holonet, but it's mostly seen used for news and sending letter-esque messages.

2) Energy is not a problem. The resources of a galaxy are vast. There's stellar, geothermal, etc. etc..

3) Duros gradually became unlivable due to industrialization. Ithor, due to alien plague.

4) There's a couple weird supermaterials, yea.

5) Paper books are a rare thing that most cultures don't use, with the closest equivalent in wide galactic usage being writing on flimsiplast (which is like paper, but it can be cleared and re-used), so there's still physical documents and books, just flimsiplast ones. Cash exists in both physical and digital forms.

6) Lobot on Cloud City. Though cybernetics to connect to computers never caught on and is rarely used, likely due to side-effects (the speech centers of Lobot's brain have deteriorated as a result. He's still capable of speech but rarely does). So he's the only one we know of.
