Morlun from Hudlin's BP series wasn't more powerful than he was written before it, it's just that even the biggest disbelievers were in awe of him when he tanked those vibranium missiles.

So no need to specify the Wakanda version, as he was consistently badass in all of his appearances, all I'm saying.
