MOS Superman
TV Show Superman (G Reeves)
Smallville Clark
Routh Superman
Reeves Superman
Hancock gets a rested to full power between each bout
fights take place in current New York.
jaden101
Hmm. Not sure that's the order I'd put them in but then despite watching the old TV show I can remember absolutely zero feats. Only saw the 1st few seasons of smallville of which there wasn't a huge amounts of big fight feats. Routh supes has it in strength. Lifting that massive kryptonite laced island was greater than Hancock's. Speed clearly Reeves supes demolishes Hancock. Fighting you'd have to give to MoS supes.
Difficult to quantify Hancock's moon decoration thing. Clearly fast but not sure about strength.
If he gets passed MoS supes and providing no one knows any big feats from either TV versions then he'll probably beat Routh but get utterly ***** stomped by Reeves.
Psychotron
Hancock stopped a train simply by bracing himself. That's pretty insane.
KingD19
Doesn't make it past Smallville. Or he doe easily. Depends on the season.

It's a very good feat, but that doesn't come close to the power Routh exerted to lift the island and the forces his body would have endured.
Only other strength feat that comes close off the top of my head is Astro Boy lifting the city.

Plus he lifted it whilst he had a kryptonite shard stuck in him, Lois only managed to remove some of it

The difference is in the effort it took them. Routh struggled against that island. Heck, he struggled against a jumbo jet.
Hancock didn't even flinch against that train.
We don't really know what Hancock's upper limit is. Not saying he wins, just that the island lifting feat is not necessarily a greater feat than stopping the train when we consider the amount of effort they used for their respective feats.

Hahahaha, you can't be serious. You just can't be. Anyway stops at MOS superman, if by FrothbYte's hate towards Superman empowering him he gets a lucky win Smallville Superman punches a hole through him. The guy threw a saturn sized planet out of the solar system.
But wait, he was grimacing doing it so Hancock stopping that train might exceed it. WE DON'T KNOW....................

Oh, I agree that Routh is stronger, but it's still impressive. It's better than anything Hulk has done on screen for sure.
Epicurus
This gauntlet is f*cked up.
Anyways, this is how it goes:
MOS Superman; Overpowers Superman.
TV Show Superman (G Reeves); Unknown.
Smallville Clark; Clark wins.
Routh Superman; Hancock wins.
Reeves Superman; Superman wins.

I think that's a different argument that involves, physics. That same Routh did lift a continent made of kryptonite

I think this fight depends on which can keep their composure the longest. whichever one gets underneath the others skin first, wins, imo

MOS Superman Gravity engine feats beats anything Hancock did.
NemeBro
The only fight even arguable is MOS Superman (I know nothing about TV Superman).
The difference between the train feat and Routh Superman's kryptonite island feat is that Superman's feat is millions of times better. "Oh well Routh had to strain himse-" **** no. Based on feats Hancock couldn't have done that at all. Routh Superman is also considerably faster than Hancock.
carver9
Hancock wins all except Reeves Superman.

Explain how he beats someone who lifts a large island while weakened or someone who punches a planet out of the solar system.

Routh struggling against that island would equate his him being able to shoulder a train just the same as Hancock, since we're talking a difference of a millions if not billions of tons.
He did not "struggle" against the jet, he had to go slow, otherwise he would have torn the plane apart and killed everyone inside. Which would have been counterproductive.
Agreed, we don't know Hancock's upper limit, so we go with what his greatest is. But the island feats is without a doubt greater than the train feat.

If you look closely you can see he also carved the logo into the surface of the moon deeply enough that you can see the indentations from Earth/Space.
And he did it fast enough that nobody seemed to notice. Ray and his family has been out all night, and nobody noticed the moon until Hancock pointed it out.

One thing I find hilarious is everyone trying to say MOS characters were KO'ed all the time simply because they got knocked down or backwards. Okay to all the people who are getting to discount the moon feat you have one if four choices
It was an amazing speed feat with him flying to and from the moon to gather more paint qnd he did this within a couple of minutes so that no one would notice
It was an amazing strength and speed feat with him carrying that much paint and doing the painting
He scraped off a sizable chunk of the moon
Theron's talk about them being gods wasn't hyperbolic and he has some manner of godly power one of which may be reality warping

No, the world engine was the best feat in the movie because we can actually see its effect as skyscrapers were crushed by its gravity beams.
Where is your onscreen reference to it being a strength feat at all? Blowing up the mantle was never even alluded. I'm saying what I see on the screen, nothing else.

The employees of the Daily Planet, most notably Perry White, survived the destruction of the World Beam despite being in the zone.
A very bad rendering of a "No you!" response. Nevermind the fact that the evidence was posted a whole page ago.
What is ambiguous about the outlines on that heart-shaped carving? If you can't recognize indentations when you see 'em, then it's your problem. Not my fault you never paid attention in art/culpture class, lol.

Why do people keep saying the World Engine was crushing Skyscrapers? Do people not know what that phrasing actually indicates?
The World Engine was increasing gravity in waves and Skyscrapers were falling over as I remember. You don't need to be an engineer to understand the vast difference between unbalance the support structureand actually crushing them.
Although Superman was on the other side of the beam, which was the one terraforming the atmosphere IIRC so I don't understand why the gravity potential of the other end keeps being mentioned. AND exaggerated.

Matter was being destroyed either way, be it from increased gravity or the beam itself. It was causing disintegration on a molecular level. Man of Steel was also right in the middle of the beam of gravity which is why he could not move at first and had to over come it.

IIRC, machine gun fire was what took out the Gregor Clegane sized Kryptonian who was getting the better of Superman. I'll rewatch the movie just to be sure. Edit: Resaw it. Machine gun fire definitely at the very least flash-koed him. Indisputable.

How the heck is it ambiguous? We clearly see the outlines on the image, we clearly see the indentations. Even if you want to claim that Hancock painted that symbol, that doesn't override the fact that said painting was done over gigantic carving, or Hancock being capable of carrying a lake's worth of red paint to the moon in a such a span of time that nobody noticed it until it he pointed it out?

They were surviving the destruction caused by the terraforming process which consisted of the gravity beam. Since the destruction caused is what we're using to gauge the impressiveness of the feat after all...
So now you are blind in addition to being a liar and an insane fanboy. Or is it just another instance of you outright denying proof in favor of a Superman-peer?
Lol at the the guy who makes fun of cancer-afflicted infants trying to insinuate that I am a troll.
You should rename yourself as ironylegend. That would be far more appropriate.
He was on his knees, he was never out. It makes you a terrible watcher, nothing else.
Haha, you are straight up lying now. They were not under the increased gravity. What does that scene shows anyway other than you are becoming a troll?
You are calling me blind? Hahaha, this is pure comedy.
Rich coming from someone who calls someone's wife a hooker.
Whatever internet tough guy. Tell us again of your "hooker sense".

Incorrect. That counts as him being put down, if not outright flash-KO'd. You can't even watch a movie without the fanboy goggles clouding your vision, lol.
Yes they were, which is evidenced by the various concrete and steel structures collapsing around them.
Of course I am. What next, you're going to ask me that I call the Earth round and Michael Jackson a pedophile?
Which is not even a tenth as bad as ridiculing a leukemia-ridden baby. LOL.
I'll do so the moment you do the same with your "cancer-baby sense".

Getting put on your knees don't count as put down. You don't even know what that means.
Nope, they were running away from that beam which was crushing cars and skyscrapers. That scene has nothing to do with Superman overpowering the gravity beam itself.
You sure know how to detect sarcasm, don't you?
I apologized for it. Everyone makes mistake and I had wished her well in the past. You didn't apologize though.
Now you're stepping over the line buddy. You can be an ******* all you want, I don't give a damn. But don't try to bring that here.

The beam was clearly powerful enough to flatten cars and collapse skyscrapers on the other end of the planet. So Superman overpowering it while depowered is very impressive.
Robtard
The beam was powerful enough to send an energy pulse through the planet, not how to quantify that with an exact number, but it's likely a large number. So I'm just going with "2 Trillion Strong".
We also see him struggling against it, before he flies up and uses his body as a weapon.

Agreed, he was de powered and going up against a weapon that was destroying metropolis.
The machine even thought that it would kill him and threw him into the beam. He just just overpowered it, even being in a weaken state.

That post is incorrect. It doesn't account for Zod's strength.
maxivitopowe
He gets hit at less than sonic speeds into a building and doesn't get up for another 9 seconds

then escaping said falling building he goes tumbling into the ground

Did you factor in that his tremendous speed in the moon-feat could have been due to him being in zero to low gravity?

the strength was discounted
flying at someone with invulnerability doesn't really require strength
think of it this way...
its the difference between being shot with a bullet and being shot with a paintball

No, it's not the same. If two people of equal weight and size throw a punch at the same speed the stronger guy will hit harder.

Why? It's a bunch of fail-nerds that can't even remember to factor in zero/low gravity and how that would affect flight speed.

People.never factor that in bec if they did, people like Surfer, Superman, and Gladiator would not be light speed since they've never done it on earth.

Some of the cals in this thread are fishy as hell. First off, you can't calc the kinetic energy of a punch by 1/2mv^2... You just can't. A punch isn't a "projectile" there is a whole lot more to it than that. Hell, in the "durability" for the worldengine feat he doesn't take into account that there is a black hole in the plane...
Beyond that, he doesn't consider Superman's best feats but does so for Hancock. Superman's best speed feat is flying halfway across the world in what has to be minutes. And his best durability feat is directly tanking the Worldengine's gravitational pulse. A pulse so powerful that it leveled several blocks of Metropolis.

I do. He was put down, even if for the briefest of moments, it still happened. Methinks you need to take a crash course in English.
They were in the exact zone where all that infrastructure damage was happening. Heck, iirc a couple other civilians shown in the background were getting pulverized by the beam, and still White an co. managed to escape it.
Better than you do. Far, far better.
After getting threatened by mods. LOL. I was never warned by mods either for what I did.

He wasn't put down for any moment. Superman took the same bullets to the face and was OK just after that anyway.
They were still not struck by the beam. You repeating and even mentioning citizens getting killed is amusing though. What do you want to prove here? Perry White overpowered the gravity beam? How does that lowballs Superman's feat anyway?
Haha, "No me!!!!!". Its like watching a kid trying to act tough.
Nope, before that. I was wishing her well for months before that moment. You got a warning due to trolling and not knowing when to quit.
You will need it after Bada would be done with you if you keep it up though.

Yes he was despite his armor. LOL.
They were directly in the zone of its destruction. They survived that wreckage without Superman's help. Awful showing.
While people like quanshe make posts overloaded with irony, it seems you eat, drink, sweat, piss and shit it in spades.
This contradicts your claim.

Bada doesn't mod the MvF. He admitted it to me in a PM. You might want to get the right mod if you want to make such weakass veiled threats, lol.

So? Superman still tanked those bullets without any problem. Nam-Ek isn't in this thread.
Haha, its like you don't even try. They were about to get killed when Superman destroyed the world ship. Of all the lowballing you chose the absolute worst.

It's an awful showing. Post the clip where Superman tanks them head-on.
Lolno, they were actively surviving the destruction of the beam while Superman was powering through it. They were probably the last few civilians left standing by the time Superman destroyed the machine and got into his epic battle with Zod.

They were still not in the range of the beam. Are you trying to say Perry White was more durable than cars?
You say every time. Sign of a desperate man.

For MoS Kal's only real chance is to blind/burn him with HV and i'm not even sure that would work. I honestly don't think they could beat each other with punches but eventually it will be nighttime and Hancock wins due to Kal running out of juice. I don't think Kal knows he can sun dip either.
Apart from that I've never seen Adventures of Superman but end of Series Clark stomps him, same with Donner Superman.
