Psi-Lord's full powers are actually held in check by his armor, which drains the excess of power lest it overwhelms him and goes beyond his control. That's why he's mostly portrayed as being something like Invisible Woman-level character. Otherwise he's a confirmed universal power, when Dreadface possessed him, he let go of his inhibitions and was going to tear apart time/space. Likewise when he let go of his limitations against Vangaard, he unleashed a big bang. A future, has him obliterate the world in an instant iirc. And he's constantly referred to as a universal power, heck, even omniversal at one point (There's also a letter's page that says he's the most powerful mutant ever)

So all he has to do is sever the link between him and the armor, and Doom is history.

Doom not gonna win here

DarkRaiden
Doom drains him like he did Beyonder, Galactus, The Watcher, Franklin Richards, etc.

Yeah, let's reference high end feats for Doom to say that he wins every time he goes against a cosmic character. Because why not?

Never mind the fact that in every single one of those instances you mentioned that it's completely different scenario from this.

Sure, Doom stole Galactus' powers, which enabled him to challenge the Beyonder and use Galactus' tech to steal his powers. As you know, in this random encounter with Psi-Lord, Psi-Lord is gonna sit and wait till Doom constructs a machine to absorb Galactus' powers, and then use his powers/tech to defeat Psi-Lord, right? Because that's how Doom absorbed Beyonder's powers and you're telling me that he's gonna drain Psi-Lord the same way.

In Secret Wars #10, Doom needed prep, to construct a machine to steal Galactus' powers. He doesn't have prep here.
In Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Comic Magazine #10, Doom had multiple artifacts including a cosmic cube, when he stole Galactus' powers.
Does he have them here? i don't see them.

In FF #373, The rogue Watcher had just battled the Molecule Man right before Doom ambushed him while he was regathering his strength. So we're to assume that Psi-Lord would start slightly exhausted and get ambushed by a prepped Doom?

In Heroes Reborn, Doom again, ambushed Franklin and stole him after which he was draining a part of his power. Franklin was a kid also who had no proper control over his power. What do you think the entire point of the Psi-Lord character, is? You see, Psi-Lord is a teenage Franklin whose powers are inhibited by the armor, same armor which helps him focus his powers to use them properly. Well, he only uses a small portion of his power, but point is at least he can control that portion. When he let's go of his limitations, he can unleash universal level of power. Like a big bang in Fantastic Force #12

Or when Dreadface possessed him and let go of his limitations in issue #5, it's later confirmed in issue #9, that he threatened to destroy space/time:

So, even basic knowledge about characters, should tell you that in a random encounter (prep is another thing, there's no knowing how it'd go), Doom vs an un-inhibited Psi-Lord, Doom gets stomped.

Now, if you want to argue an inhibited Psi-Lord vs Doctor Doom, then go ahead, im not interested in that argument.

DarkRaiden
Huh? Doom built that into his armor....as seen when he drains Franklin. Plus Doom has godly willpower, and a psionic refractor he can bust out at any time.

And I wasn't using high end. I was actually joking but...eh. High End Doom solos a Watcher with magic alone. He also can't die due to willpower or hate or w/e the hell that excuse was. Oh and his forcefields block blasts from the Beyonder and the Infinity Gauntlet.

That's High End Doom.

guy222
So does Doom win

DarkRaiden
Doom can win if he fights smart and simply goes for the drain yeah. And if he actually activates his forcefield for once (seriously, half the time he doesn't even have it on).

He's probably outmatched and overpowered, but he's one of the few who not only can survive, but thrive in that situation if he fights correctly.

guy222
He is very snart

DarkSaint85
Does he shart?

guy222
My spelling poor today. Franklin wins this

DarkSaint85
Today?
