I've heard that Revan is still mentioned somewhere on starwars.com, so he's still canonical. Don't ask me where though.

DarthAnt66
Yes, Darth Revan is still canonical. KotOR Revan is not.

He is mentioned here: http://starwars.com/explore/the-clone-wars/ep317/#!/media/commentary

And then referenced to in the Son's official Encyclopedia entry: "The Son was not a Sith -- his powers existed beyond the domain of the Sith Lords. But his natural affinity to the dark side granted him visions through the Force, wherein he saw images of Sith Lords past and future."

UPDATE: HOLY SHIT, THEY MADE A ENTRY FOR DARTH BANE: http://starwars.com/explore/encyclopedia/characters/darth-bane/

The_Tempest
Canonically, Revan doesn't exist. Only if he were entered into TCW would he qualify as a canonical character. And even then, what we know of the character is non-canon.

DarthAnt66
No, canonically, he is bluntly referenced to in starwars.com.

The_Tempest
Uh, no, he's referenced as a now-defunct EU construct that was considered for inclusion in the show. He wasn't included.

DarthAnt66
"But his natural affinity to the dark side granted him visions through the Force, wherein he saw images of Sith Lords past and future."

then later: "George was looking for two ancient Sith Lords who would bring some meaning who would be kind of a like an uber influence guiding the Son. And this was Darth Bane and Darth Revan."

The_Tempest
Right. So what that says is that The Son has visions of Sith Lords of past and future. Revan isn't named as one of them.

Bane was conferred canon status thanks to "Sacrifice." Revan, not so much.

Emperordmb
I still intend to debate with Legends, but I'm still glad Bane is canon in both continuities for lack of a better word.

Dave says otherwise.

Could you provide a source of this?

Revan doesn't exist? Well, that's probably a good sign.
