We still don't know the exact details of how that happened. Once that comic actually comes out I'd be more than willing to bring it up in debates.

I also fail to see what relevance mental fortitude holds here, as telepathic assault is not really in either of their repertoire.

The HoT did/can mentally dominate Tol Braga. And Braga's mind isn't exactly weak, he threw off Vitiates control after all.
