Can the Bismol basher eat the AI with attitude?

Pre New52 Lad, in a slug fest, Ultron just gets his fists. His tasty, tasty fists....

MEL can definately eat him.

Whether he can do it before Ultron kills him, I'm not sure (Far as I know, he's not invulnerable or anything.. Except in his stomach.)

MEL has his flight ring. abhi's argued its equipped with B5 level FF, though i've never been totally convinced of that.

BS, aside from flight and comms Dreamgirl is the only legionare who uses the flight ring for anything. She uses it to simulate TK by extending the anti grav field.on ONE occasion only Timberwolf tried to do the same thing because he knew DG did but was far less effective with it. Ive never seen anyone else use a flight ring for anything other than flying or as a communicator.

When I first saw the heading of the thread, I thought that there was some kind of gimmick, like Ultron was forced to stand there and watch as he was devoured, but since that isn't the case I'd firmly place my bets on Ultron.

Scans were posted of MEL eating laser attacks and eating at super speed sufficiant to gobble up any arm that tries to hit him. What can Ultron do to him that he can't counter by eating?

Are you saying that MEL is impossible to be grabbed or physically hit? If this is the case, then he's likely the most powerful comic character ever, and I concede.

I'm saying there's scans here of him countering a laser attack by eating it, and super speed digging a tunnel out of a prison like Ms. Pac-Man eating dots.

Yeah but you have to take into accound the fact that the blasts was convieniently the size of his mouth. Ultron can most likely use blasts that cover more area then the stun ray MEL swallowed. Or simultaneously use two blast near but not on top of each other.

You're speaking in hindsight, or as if Ultron had seen the scans.
