Which hero has THE toughest, most powerful, deadliest, smartest, most bad arse villains?
I figured 3 as a cap, to keep things simple.

Any hero, mid herald and below. Define your top 3 any way YOU see fit.
You can do teams, if you want.

Wonder Woman's toughest: Queen of Fables, Ares, Genocide

(Not counting one-time opponents like the Shattered God or Chronus)

Too bad mid Herald is the cap, because I was recently going through all of Thor's enemies, and he probably has close to the most dangerous, or powerful foes of any high Herald.

And Stoic, i thought about going higher but didnt want yet another Thor/Superman wank/bash fest. Call me a pessimist but i could see it happening.

Good picks so far though. Good to see a street leveler in there. These usually have pretty interesting villains.

Both, lol.

Constantine had a twin who was 'perfect', who died in the womb. He was meant to be the greatest magician who ever lived. His spirit lived on, however, and all of John's worst experiences (his cancer etc) were because of his doing, so that John's soul could be joined to his.

Also, John is his own worst enemy sometimes.

Johns probably got the most powerful enemies in comparison to his own power.

Is all of this touched on in the New 52 or did all of this happen before the reboot?
