1) At what point in either verse are these two students on an equal level?

2) Equal physical stats, who wins a fight out of these two champs at taking a beating using their skill alone?

1) Honestly, until we see more of Shioon's feats in the current chapters, I'd be willing to say they're on relatively even footing right now in the current arcs. Though Kenichi might hold the advantage in terms of pure technique given how many techniques he's specifically trained in, whereas Shioon mainly sticks to a very small handful of them.

2) Possibly Shioon. The things he survives are simply inhuman. Kenichi may take some pretty damn brutal poundings, but Shioon has been cut and stabbed with needles meant to put people in immense pain and make it impossible for it to be removed on their own or without dying.
