Cacodominus controlled all life and consciousness in 1,300 star systems with his psychic powers, and he's just an Alpha level Psyker.

In both rounds Magnus the Red unleashes a Warp Screech snuffing out all life within a hundred light years.

Yet for all that power, it/he/she was unable to defend itself against the Black Templars. Also, it is never stated what classification the Cacodominus falls under, but seeing as the thing was able to control 1300 star systems, it had to be Alpha-plus.

Magnus is capable of no such thing. The Space Wolves would have never stood a chance otherwise.

Primarchs would take it pretty easily.
