Riddick owes money to Danny's master. Once Riddick refused to pay Danny is sent after him to kill him.

Fight takes place in a skyscraper.

Danny dies. Riddick is superhuman plain and simple.

So is Danny.

Not to the extent of Riddick though, who is superhumanly fast, strong, durable, etc...

Danny is just a damn good and ferocious fighter. Unless I'm remembering wrong, he doesn't have feats like jumping across a 40+ foot room or kicking a machete hard enough and with enough accuracy to turn it into a buzzsaw, slice through a man's skull and still embed itself halfway into a metal wall, etc...

A straight Jab sends people flying 10-20 feet back. He has a bullet dodging scene. Also overpowering a guy who can bust concrete.

Stop, Danny is in no way a match for Riddick.
